Fuji Finepix Camera June 1, 2010 S. Brand (Herne Bay) Have had this item for some time now. I'm absolutely delighted with it and when my Daughter-in-law saw it she ordered one also. Very simple to use and easy to install on computer. Results can vary according to which size megapixel you choose. I choose the highest so I can enlarge good piccies successfully and even sections of piccies. There is also facility for a short movie alas no sound but you can't have everything at such a reasonable price. Battery consumption can be high but choosing specialist batteries makes a difference. I always carry spares because the batteries can run out just when you don't want them to.
Owner for 2 years October 28, 2004 mike denning (Airline pilot worldwide) In short I have owned this camers for two years or more. I am very dissappointed in the night taking picture results. 90 percent of the time the pics come out blurred. The camera has a terrible time focusing at night or low light conditions(indoor museum, dusk photos, etc.) While in France I tried to take a pic of the Mona Lisa and could never get a focused pic - how frustrating!!!!! Therefore don't expect any night photos. Yes 2 out of 100 I have taken at night are OK but the rest are terrible. The day photos are excellent -all of them!!!!
OK but not flawless December 7, 2003 13 out of 15 found this review helpful
I bought this camera 6 months ago and all in all it has been quite a good camera with all the pluses being stated in the other reviews. But here are some flaws that i unfortunately came across:- Battery life: This camera EATS batteries. It uses to power from the USB and relies entirely on the batteries for both upload and webcam. I have been using recharable batteries but even these it uses up within about 10 minutes. - Picture quality: Some of the photos i have taken with this are wonderful, but sometimes if you ever so slightly move when taking a photo, the entire photo completely blurs. This is probably due to the camera taking a second or two to actually take the photo. Besides that, its OK, but then the above two points are really what make the camera. I'm currently looking for a new camera.
Fuji A303, and new user December 2, 2003 davie_mack (Glasgow) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
New baby on way, family miles away - an excuse for a new toy. Sony P72 is too expensive so I chose the A303 to see if digital cameras are all their made out to be, and that I'd use it.Initial thoughts are its too small (at 6 foot + with big hands, it is built for ladies). After taking some photos, and hooking it with the computer (easy) I realise the controls are well laid out, and I can use it. Disappointed no case comes with it the USB port is uncovered, but after a few days it still works and I've not broken it. Recommended

I have to agree with all of the points made by Reviewer: shrewd_buyer from Wallasey, Merseyside United Kingdom in his review. In response to soem one elses comments, the casing is not as good as other cameras. However I purchased this camera back in January just proir to my deployment to the gulf. Despite the sand storms, and physical abuse that is enevitable in those conditions, my camera came back still operational! Others did not, including two Kodak Digital camera's! My only critisism of all of these compact cameras is that the flash is not powerful for many conditions. As a result of this, I am about to replace my aging SLR (20 years old) with another modern one complete with falsh hot shoe!
