Does what it says on the label. Good for phone calls and texts. Battery life good. Great value for money if you just wish to phone and text.

Bought this as a spare phone to take out in the evenings. Nice & loud (can hear in the pub!)
Its really easy to use, quite basic but excellent value for money.

I looked at the reviews and one person said they had bought a 1661 for his father who had got on very well with it having previously had problems. My wife could never manage to send text messages, by the end of the day she was texting like there was no tomorrow. She is pleased and I got a brownie point. Jim Robson

Excellent value for money for a better than basic, mobile phone with a lot of extras. Easy to use and extra large font for those people with visual impairment.I would highly recommend it. The battery life is the best ever, and a loud speaker with extra volume. An ideal senior citizen phone or someone technically challenged!! Well done Nokia.
